No finer activity on a rainy Boston day…
Deep diving into Argo @nprdigitalsvcs (Taken with Instagram at NPR Digital)
Here he is, our leader, Bob Kempf, VP of NPR Digital Services, speaking at the iMA conference in Austin, where he shared this nugget: the 5 pilot stations using NPR Digital Services’ Core Publisher have seen +381% growth in audience year over year.
In honor of the host state, he may be wearing cowboy boots; can’t tell for sure.
Here’s our own Erin, Keith, Steve and Sara happily signing 400 NPR Digital Services holiday cards.
The picture doesn’t capture it, but we had WBUR playing in the background - and a boxful of pastries (that’d be a great band name, BTW) - to keep us going.
WGBH classical host Cathy Fuller using NPR DIgital Services’ guide and playlist management tool Composer Pro in the studio!
She must not know that Q4 SoundExchange reporting data is due soon, otherwise she wouldn’t look so happy…
We were gonna wrap this up and put it under NPR member stations’ Christmas trees, but we didn’t want to wait that long to share the good news, so here goes:
NPR Digital Services is pleased to announce that we’ve just signed a deal with Ando Media to bring streaming metrics and in-steam underwriting to NPR members.
This is a big big deal and we’re very excited about it. If you’re an NPR member station, you should be too…!
Hey look - Michigan Radio, a Core Publisher web site, was on TV!
The December 8th Rachel Maddow show, to be exact.
Exciting and, unlike what they usually say, TV did not add 10 pounds to MichiganRadio.org.
